Svitlana Mayboroda newly appointed professor
We warmly welcome our new faculty member, Professor Svitlana Mayboroda. She was appointed by the ETH Board in March 2022 and took up her position on 1 August 2023.
Professor Svitlana Mayboroda (*1981), former professor at the University of Minnesota, USA, has been appointed Full Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics.
Svitlana Mayboroda conducts research in the field of analysis. She has produced numerous groundbreaking studies in the areas of partial differential equations, harmonic analysis and functional analysis. Svitlana Mayboroda is a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and has won multiple international awards for her research. At present she is the director of a major international interdisciplinary project. She is not only regarded as a leading scientist in her field, but also has extensive experience as a university lecturer.
