Yilin Wang: Maryam Mirzakhani New Frontiers Prize

We are delighted to announce that Dr Yilin Wang has been awarded the 2022 Maryam Mirzakhani New Frontiers Prize.

In 2020 Yilin Wang has received the ETH Medal for her doctoral thesis entitled: "On the Loewner energy of simple planar curves". She was a former doctoral student of Wendelin Werner in the Probability Theory Group.

The Maryam Mirzakhani New Frontiers Prize is designated for women mathematicians who have completed their PhDs within the previous two years. It is one of the three mathematics prizes awarded once a year by the external pageBreakthrough organisation.
