Eurocomb Prize 2021

We proudly announce that Istvan was awarded the external pageEurocomb 2021 prizecall_made for his fundamental contributions to extremal combinatorics and the theory of partially ordered sets, in particular for his proof of a conjecture about the Ramsey properties of intersection patterns of geometric objects, and the solution of a problem of Linial on the extremal numbers of surfaces. Eurocomb, the European Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory and Applications, is an academic conference in the mathematical field of combinatorics. It has been held biennially since 2001. Since 2003, the European Prize of Combinatorics has been awarded at the conference.
