Explicit and implicit finite volume schemes for radiation mhd and the effects of radiation on wave propagation in stratified atmospheres.

Abstract
We present a radiation MHD model based on moments (M1) of the radiative transport equation. This M1 model is approximated numerically by robust finite volume schemes. We compare explicit and semi-implicit schemes and show how radiation affects wave propagation in stratified atmospheres.
