Denis Devaud: SIAM UKIE Prizewinner

We are delighted to announce that Denis Devaud is one of the three SIAM UKIE Prizewinners. He has received the prize at the 27th Biennial Conference on Numerical Analysis.

Denis Devaud was awarded for his presentation entitled: "Exponential convergence in H1/2 of hp-approximation for parabolic equations". He has been a doctoral student under the supervision of Professor Christoph Schwab at the Seminar for Applied Mathematics (SAM) since April 2014.   

The external page27th Biennial Conference on Numerical Analysis took place at the University of Strathclyde from 27 to 30 June 2017. The three best student presentations at the conference were recognised through prizes sponsored by the United Kingdom and Ireland section of the external pageSociety for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).
