ETH Lectures in Mathematics

From 1997 to 2020 I was chair of the committee of D-MATH in charge of organizing our advanced "Nachdiplom lectures" program in collaboration with FIM, the ETH Institute for Mathematical Research. In this program, D-MATH and FIM jointly invite distinguished research mathematicians to teach a semester course on a topic of their choice, introducing our graduate and master students at ETH to a current field of research and taking them to the frontier of knowledge. Many of these lectures later were published in the series "Zurich Lectures in Advanced Mathematics", published by the EMS Publishing House, or in the Birkhäuser series "Lectures in Mathematics, ETH Zürich".

Below is the list of invited speakers until spring 2021; see the homepage of FIM - Institute for Mathematical Research - for the current program.
