has first appeared in 1970 (top left) in the series Graduate Texts in Mathematics
of Springer Verlag. It was reprinted in 1976 and 1982. There also is a
special reprint for the People's Republic of China (bottom left).

In 1996 a Second Edition has been produced containig an additional
chapter on recent developments in Homological Algebra (top right).
in 2003 a reprint of the Second Edition appeared in the People's Republic of China (bottom right).
