Google, Linear Algebra, and Beyond
This (pro)seminar will be concerned with the beautiful mathematical concepts
behind Google's PageRank and, more generally, information retrieval
and data clustering: Perron-Frobenius theory, spectral graph theory,
eigenvalue computation.
First meeting
Please come to HG G 37.4, Wednesday 26.09.,
12:30 for an initial
meeting, where we discuss the topics of the seminar as well as
the weekday of all subsequent meetings.
Weekly meetings
