About me

I am a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. Paul Embrechts at the RiskLab and Department of Mathematics, ETH Zürich. I work on applied probability and statistics. I did my Ph.D. dissertation on Conditional Extreme Value Models under the supervision of Prof. Sid Resnick at the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering in Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India.
