Question databases and projects

As part of our Innovedum project we developed a large question database for single- and multi-variable calculus for engineering students. ETH users can request access at Using STACK at ETH. Parts of our work is also availabe in the externe SeiteAbacus material bank.

We also developed a self-paced training module on integration techniques, called the Integral Trainer. See our dedicated project website for more details!

Memberships in the international community

Our team members are not just active around ETH Zurich, but also contribute to international communities like the externe SeiteSTACK International Advisory Board and the STACK Professionals Network.

Articles and Conference Submissions

The results of our work are published and presented at various conferences, for example at the Annual International Meeting of the STACK Community. Accepted articles and presentations include:

Case studies

Innovative uses and best practices of STACK tasks and quizzes are published in the externe SeiteSTACK Case Studies Collection.

ETH community

Community of practice

Our team created and heads the geschützte SeiteProfessional Exchange for STACK Users. We aim to bring together STACK users at ETH, report on developments and news, organise meetings and talks, and share best practices. If you teach at ETH and you want to learn more about STACK, feel free to join!

Refresh Teaching

In Fall 2022 we gave a talk Online Assessment with STACK - making individual feedback possible in ETH's Refresh Teaching lunch lecture series. If you don't know what this is all about, the presentation is a good place to start!

Learning and Teaching Fair

At ETH's Innovation in Learning and Teaching Fair 2022 we presented STACK to a wider ETH audience for the first time.

Innovedum project

Many of these first steps we took were made possible through a project generously funded by Innovedum. All the developments listed above resulted from the project and ran from April until December 2022.
