"Scattering for fourth-order wave equations, the Levandosky-Strauss Conjecture".
In this talk, I will consider the fourth-order wave equation
$u_{tt}+\Delta^2u+mu+|u|^{p-1}u=0$ in the energy space, and show that any
solution approaches a solution of the associated linear equation as times
goes
to infinity, in the natural range $1+8/n<p<1+8/(n-4)$. This answers a conjecture
by Levandosky and Strauss.
