Using STACK at ETH

Here at ETH, STACK is freely and immediately available as a question type in Moodle courses. No registrations or sign-ups are required!

Getting started

The number of advanced features offered by STACK can feel overwhelming at first. We recommend taking things step by step and starting with the self-contained externe SeiteAuthoring guidecall_made provided by the official documentation. Depending on what kind of questions you want to ask, you can even skip some of the eight steps described there. While some experience with programming certainly helps, STACK is fairly easy to learn. Many ouf our colleagues who don't consider themselves computer experts at all are using it effortlessly!

ETH resources

We are running a community network for the geschützte SeiteProfessional Exchange for STACK Userslock. We offer a platform to have discussions, exchange STACK questions, distribute news and share useful links. All ETH STACK users are welcome to join!

We are also building and maintaining question databases for STACK questions in mathematics. They are stored in designated Moodle courses and set up in a way to easily share the questions. Let us know if you need access!
