In electrical engineering it has become common practice to simulate and optimize structures and devices - ranging from large transformers, airplanes, etc. down to nano scale sensors, optical transistors, etc. - using various numerical methods. In this specialization the student will get an overview over existing methods, learn how to select appropriate techniques, implement, and apply codes for solving specific problems.
This specialization is well suited for a focus on numerical methods.
