Exercise Classes and Distribution of the Students

Organization of the Exercise Classes

• Exercises classes will take place weekly. Exercise sheets will be available on this website below. The last exercise of each sheet will be a programming exercise (R-exercise). Only the R-exercises have to be handed in. 
  
• The R-exercises should be submitted by email on wednesdays until 18:00 to the appropriate assistant according to the above list.
• All the other exercises will be discussed in the exercise classes, where the students are expected to present their solutions on the blackboard.

Question Times, Lecture Notes

• There are regular question times ("Präsenz") on Mondays and Thursdays, 12:00 to 13:00 in HG G 32.6.

Testat Conditions

• Two thirds of the exercises should be prepared for presentation.
• At least two successful presentations of exercises on the blackboard.
• 60% of the R-exercises should be solved correctly.

Submission of the R-exercises

• The name of the R-file should be of the form lastname_firstname_number.r (everything written in small letters), where:
  • lastname is the last name of the student;
  • firstname is the first name of the student;
  • number is the number of the exercise sheet; for example, R-files for the first exercise sheet will be of the form lastname_firstname_1.r
